Puhelinliittymä (plural Puhelinliittymien) in Finnish telecommunications refers to an agreement with a mobile network operator that provides access to voice, text and data services, typically bundled with a SIM card and sometimes a device. Subscriptions are offered as postpaid (laskutuksella) or prepaid (etukäteen, 'prepaid'). Corporate or family/group plans also exist. Common components include monthly fees, data allowance, call minutes, and SMS/MMS quotas, with options for unlimited or high-speed data, roaming, and device financing.

Plans can be SIM-only or include a handset; some offer sharing of data across multiple lines; rate structures may be tiered or unlimited. International roaming and EU roaming rules are common features. MVNOs (mobile virtual network operators) compete by reselling access on the networks of the main operators, often with lower prices or specialty options.

Customer rights in Finland are governed by national law and EU directives, requiring clear information about price, term, termination conditions, and the ability to switch operator with number portability. In practice, customers can transfer their number relatively quickly when changing providers.

In Finland, the mobile market has three major operators: DNA, Elisa, and Telia, along with numerous MVNOs. Coverage generally includes 4G and expanding 5G networks nationwide. Puhelinliittymien continue to evolve with new data-centric and bundled offerings, integrated with online services and marketplaces, and increasingly sold as digital-only contracts in addition to traditional in-store options.
