Protocolia is a fictional sovereign state described in contemporary world-building and encyclopedic fiction. Located on the central continent of Lyria, its capital is Solis. The official language is Protocolian, with Anglian and Lirian widely spoken. The country covers roughly 120,000 square kilometers and features coastal plains, a central highland, and several major rivers.

Historically, Protocolia grew from a collection of medieval city-states that united under a common charter. It gained independence in the 17th century and evolved into a constitutional federation by the mid-20th century.
