Propánbután

Propánbután is a term used in some regions, particularly in Europe, to refer to a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) mixture. It is primarily composed of propane and butane, with the ratio varying depending on the intended application and climate. This mixture is commonly used as a fuel source for domestic heating, cooking, and in some vehicles.

The physical properties of propánbután, such as its boiling point and vapor pressure, are determined by the relative amounts of propane and butane present. Propane has a lower boiling point and higher vapor pressure than butane. Therefore, higher propane content is often preferred in colder climates to ensure the gas vaporizes effectively. Conversely, in warmer climates, a higher butane content may be used.
