Programmenedzser is the Hungarian term for a program manager, a professional responsible for delivering a set of related projects and initiatives that collectively realize strategic benefits for an organization. Unlike a project manager, who focuses on a single deliverable, a program manager coordinates outcomes across multiple interdependent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, governance standards, and benefit realization.

Core responsibilities include defining the program vision and scope, developing the program roadmap, and establishing governance structures. The program manager manages cross-project dependencies, allocates resources at the program level, monitors budgets, and oversees risk and issue management. They coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders, communicate progress to executives, and ensure changes are managed so that benefits are delivered on time and within value targets.

Skills and qualifications typically involve strong leadership and influencing ability, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and stakeholder management.
