Prognostiset

Prognostiset is Finnish for concepts related to prognosis, the forecast of the likely course and outcome of a disease or condition. The term is used to describe factors, models, and assessments that estimate future outcomes and help guide clinical decisions, patient counseling, and health policy. It is distinct from diagnostic criteria, which aim to identify what a condition is, whereas prognostiset concepts focus on what may happen next.
