Presentience

Presentience is a concept that refers to the supposed ability to perceive events before they occur. It is often discussed in the context of parapsychology and extrasensory perception (ESP). The term was coined by psychologist Joseph Banks Rhine in the 1930s to describe a phenomenon where an individual has a premonition or a sense of knowing about an event before it happens.
