The concept encompasses both synthetic signals generated by algorithms and curated real-world signals assembled to meet known specifications. Practicessignals are typically documented with generation parameters, including sampling rate, duration, amplitude, noise characteristics, and spectral content, enabling reproducibility across experiments.
