Polyetylenové

Polyetylenové refers to materials made from polyethylene, a versatile thermoplastic polymer. Polyethylene is produced through the polymerization of ethylene monomers. It is one of the most common plastics in the world, known for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to moisture and chemicals.

There are several types of polyethylene, each with slightly different properties and applications. The most common include High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), and Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). HDPE is rigid and strong, often used for milk jugs, detergent bottles, and pipes. LDPE is more flexible and transparent, commonly found in plastic bags, film wrap, and squeeze bottles. LLDPE combines some of the strengths of both, offering good puncture resistance and flexibility, making it suitable for packaging films and toys.

Polyethylene's widespread use stems from its low cost of production, ease of processing, and excellent performance characteristics. It is recyclable, although the efficiency of recycling varies depending on the type of polyethylene and local infrastructure. Environmental concerns regarding plastic waste have led to increased efforts in developing more sustainable polyethylene products and improving recycling rates.
