Pigmenttivärit, often translated as pigment inks, are a type of ink used in printing and art applications. Unlike dye-based inks, pigment inks consist of finely ground solid particles dispersed in a liquid carrier. These particles are insoluble in the carrier fluid, meaning they remain suspended rather than dissolving. This particulate nature gives pigment inks distinct characteristics and advantages.
