Piemri is a village and municipality in the fictional country of Nordhaven, on the northern coast. The municipality covers about 68 square kilometers and had a population of around 2,100 in 2022. The administrative center is the village of Piemri. The name is thought to derive from the local language, though several traditional explanations exist.

Geography and land use: It sits on the Nordhaven coastal plain, with farmland, small forests, and a 12-kilometer coastline along the Silver Sea. The River Piem runs through the municipality and forms two small wetlands near the ponds.

History: The settlement emerged in the 17th century as an agricultural village. It gained municipal status in 1910 and expanded with rail access in the 1920s. In the late 20th century it diversified into light manufacturing and services.

Economy and infrastructure: The economy relies on agriculture (potatoes and grains), small-scale fishing, and light manufacturing. Public services and rural tourism provide supplementary income. Transport consists of a national road network and a local bus service; the nearest railway station is in a neighboring town.

Governance and demographics: The population is predominantly Nordhavenic-speaking. The municipal council has 11 members, and the mayor serves a four-year term. Piemri belongs to Nordhaven's eastern district.

Education and culture: Piemri operates a primary school; secondary schools and major health services are in neighboring towns. Landmarks include Piemri Church, the Old Mill, and Piemri Fort ruins. Annual events include River Days and a summer agricultural fair.
