Pidgeot

Pidgeot is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the final evolution of Pidgey, evolving from Pidgeotto starting at level 36. Pidgeot is known for its magnificent plumage and incredible speed, often described as a bird Pokémon with majestic wings.

Physically, Pidgeot is a large avian Pokémon with a prominent crest of feathers on its head, typically reddish-brown in color. Its body is predominantly brown, with lighter tan underparts. Its wings are large and broad, capable of generating powerful gusts of wind. The beak is usually yellow or orange. Pidgeot's eyes are typically red. Its aerodynamic body and powerful wings allow it to fly at high speeds, making it a formidable opponent in aerial battles.

Pidgeot's Pokédex entries often highlight its ability to withstand strong winds and fly for extended periods. It is said to be able to create powerful gusts by rapidly beating its wings, which can be used to push back opponents or clear paths. Some entries mention its keen eyesight, enabling it to spot prey from great distances. Pidgeot is generally depicted as a noble and proud Pokémon.

In battle, Pidgeot's dual typing gives it strengths against Grass and Bug-type Pokémon, while making it weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves. Its abilities, such as Keen Eye and Tangled Feet, further enhance its combat capabilities. Keen Eye prevents its accuracy from being lowered, while Tangled Feet increases its evasion when confused. Pidgeot has also been shown to Mega Evolve into Mega Pidgeot, which further enhances its Speed and Special Attack, and changes its ability to No Guard.
