Paroolipõhistele refers to systems or methods that rely on passwords for authentication and access control. These are a fundamental component of digital security, used to verify the identity of a user trying to access a computer system, network, application, or online service. The core principle involves a user providing a secret string of characters, known as a password, which is then compared against a stored, often encrypted or hashed, version. If the provided password matches the stored credential, access is granted.
