Parafilias
Parafilias, also known as paraphilic disorders, are intense, persistent sexual interests that are not considered normal or typical. These interests are not shared by the majority of people and may cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) classifies paraphilias as sexual disorders, and they are often grouped into three categories: sexual fantasies, sexual urges, and sexual behaviors.

Parafilias can be caused by a variety of factors, including biological, psychological, and environmental influences. Treatment
