Some medical conditions, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), and gynecological issues like ovarian cysts, can also cause chronic bloating. In rarer cases, more serious conditions may be responsible.

Management of bloating often involves lifestyle and dietary adjustments. Identifying and avoiding trigger foods, eating slowly, and regular physical activity can help alleviate symptoms.
