Pachtvertrags
Pachtvertrag is a civil-law contract in which the owner (Verpächter) of an asset grants another person (Pächter) the right to use the asset and to derive profits from it for a defined period in return for a rent payment (Pachtzins). The subject of a Pachtvertrag is typically agricultural land and associated facilities, but it can also cover other commercial assets such as hotels, restaurants, forests, or fisheries. The Pächter acquires the right to use the property and to exploit its fruits or yields in the agreed manner; the fruits produced during the lease generally belong to the Pächter for the term of the contract, while ownership of the asset remains with the Verpächter.
