PRDX5

PRDX5, also known as Peroxiredoxin-5, is a protein found in humans and other organisms. It belongs to the peroxiredoxin family of enzymes, which are known for their role in reducing reactive oxygen species. These reactive oxygen species, often referred to as free radicals, are highly reactive molecules that can damage cells and contribute to various diseases.
