PMUphasor
PMUphasor is a term used to describe the data representation and processing workflow associated with synchrophasor measurements produced by Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs). In practice, PMUphasor data consists of time‑stamped phasor measurements of electrical quantities such as voltage and current, along with ancillary data including system frequency, rate of change of frequency (ROCOF), and quality flags. Time tags are synchronized to GPS time to enable precise cross‑device alignment and wide‑area monitoring.
The typical PMUphasor data model includes, for each sample, phasor values (magnitude and angle) for multiple
Applications of PMUphasor data include real‑time grid monitoring, dynamic stability analysis, event detection, and protection and
Implementation considerations involve managing large data volumes, ensuring robust time synchronization, validating data quality, and integrating
