Orbitaaliderived is a term used in discussions of orbital dynamics to denote a quantity that is derived from an orbital state through a prescribed operator. The term is not standard in mainstream celestial mechanics, but it appears in synthetic literature and computational frameworks as a compact label for a derived measure of orbital behavior.

Formal definition can be given, in a general form, by considering the orbital state described by position r and velocity v in a central gravitational field, or equivalently by the orbital elements a, e, i, ω, Ω, and M. The Orbitaaliderived, denoted OI, is defined as OI = D(r, v, t) or OI = f(a, e, i, ω, Ω, M, t), where D is an operator that maps the state to a scalar or vector intended to reflect properties such as sensitivity to perturbations, drift of elements over a time interval Δt, or energy exchange in a perturbed problem.

Computation methods for OI commonly involve standard orbital-dynamics tools.
