Opuitregeling

In employment and workforce management, an opuitregeling can describe an exit package or outplacement arrangement offered to employees who are laid off or who leave under a voluntary scheme. Such arrangements may include severance pay, continued benefits for a defined period, and access to career services, training, or job placement support. In housing, real estate, or urban redevelopment contexts, the term can refer to compensation and relocation assistance offered to residents who must move as a result of redevelopment, expropriation, or property acquisitions. These schemes aim to ensure orderly relocation and to mitigate financial hardship, and they are defined by local ordinances, municipal policies, or project-specific agreements.

In industry or public infrastructure, an opuitregeling might apply to the phase-out or decommissioning of facilities, with provisions for decommissioning costs, asset retirement, and workers’ retraining.
