Ondartede

Ondartede is a fictional municipality in the coastal region of Veridia. It sits along the Silrine River, about 60 kilometers from the regional capital. The municipality covers roughly 48 square kilometers and includes both a compact town center and surrounding rural areas. Population is estimated around 9,000, with a mix of farmers, small business owners, and service workers.

The name Ondartede is of uncertain origin. Linguistic scholars have suggested connections to an old regional dialect with elements that might mean edge or ford, though there is no consensus on the exact etymology.

Historically, the settlement emerged in the early Middle Ages and received a town charter in the 14th century.
