It is described as an island archipelago in a temperate maritime region, known in narratives as the Odmian Sea. The nation covers about 2,100 square kilometers, with roughly 60 inhabited islands. The capital and seat of government is Valmere, located on the central island, while the largest urban center is Lerin, a coastal city on the north shore. The official language is Odmian, with regional communities maintaining language and cultural traditions alongside widely spoken second languages such as Keldan and Arnavan.

Odmia is a parliamentary republic. The president serves as ceremonial head of state, while an elected prime minister acts as head of government and leads the cabinet. The unicameral Assembly consists of 90 members elected to four-year terms under proportional representation. A constitution enacted in 1998 guarantees civil liberties, an independent judiciary, and checks and balances between branches.
