Näyttökertoimilla, often translated as "display multipliers" or "screen scaling," refers to the method by which operating systems and applications adjust the size of user interface elements, text, and icons on a display. This is particularly relevant for high-resolution screens where default element sizes might appear too small to be comfortably viewed or interacted with.

The primary function of näyttökertoimilla is to improve usability by making content more legible. Users can select a scaling factor, often expressed as a percentage (e.g., 100%, 125%, 150%), which proportionally enlarges all visual components on the screen. This ensures that text remains readable and buttons or icons are large enough for easy clicking or tapping.
