Nyfødtundersøkelse is a routine medical examination performed on newborn infants shortly after birth. The primary purpose of this examination is to assess the baby's overall health, identify any potential medical conditions, and ensure a healthy start to life. It typically involves a physical assessment of various body systems, including the skin, head, eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, abdomen, and genitals.
