Nordikkas

Nordikkas are a fictional species that inhabit the northern regions of the planet Xylos. They are a nomadic people, known for their resilience and deep connection to the harsh, icy environment they call home. Physically, Nordikkas are tall and lean, with thick, pale fur that provides natural insulation against the extreme cold. Their eyes are typically a striking pale blue or grey, adapted to the long periods of dim light during Xylos's winter months. They possess a high metabolism, allowing them to thrive on a diet consisting primarily of hardy arctic flora and the blubber of indigenous Xylosian fauna.

The social structure of the Nordikkas is organized into clans, each led by an elder who holds both spiritual and practical authority. These clans move seasonally, following migratory patterns of prey and seeking out sheltered valleys during the harshest storms. Their culture places a strong emphasis on storytelling, with oral traditions passing down knowledge of survival, ancestral history, and the complex celestial movements that guide their migrations.
