Nodosaur
Nodosaur refers to a group of herbivorous dinosaurs belonging to the family Ankylosauridae, known for their heavily armored bodies and distinctive slow-moving behavior. They lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 83 to 66 million years ago, primarily in regions that are now North America, Europe, and Asia. Nodosaurids are characterized by their robust, plant-eating adaptations, including armored plates, spines, and a heavily built skeleton that provided defense against predators.
Unlike their close relatives, the ankylosaurs, nodosaurs generally lacked the tail club that some ankylosaurs possess.
