Maintaining appropriate humidity levels can help alleviate symptoms associated with dry air, such as dry skin, chapped lips, nasal congestion, and irritated airways. It can also be helpful for preserving wooden furniture, musical instruments, and plants that are sensitive to low humidity. However, it is important to use humidifiers responsibly. Over-humidification can lead to mold and mildew growth, which can be detrimental to indoor air quality and health. Regular cleaning and maintenance of humidifiers are crucial to prevent the buildup of bacteria and minerals, which could then be dispersed into the air. The ideal indoor humidity level is generally considered to be between 30% and 50%.
