Necronhas

Necronhas is a sovereign state on the northern coast of the fictional continent of Valoria. It comprises a mainland peninsula and several offshore islands connected by ferries and bridges.

The name comes from the ancient Necronish language, meaning land of shadow and harvest.

Necronhas emerged as a medieval realm in the 12th century and grew under the Ardent dynasty. It developed a maritime economy and maintained independence amid regional powers. In the 19th century it adopted a constitutional framework after reform, and in the 20th century joined regional alliances and modernized public institutions.

Today it is a constitutional monarchy with a ceremonial monarch and a democratically elected parliament, consisting of a 120-member Assembly and a 40-member Senate. The prime minister is head of government; the monarch's role is largely symbolic. The constitution guarantees civil liberties and an independent judiciary.

Necronhas has about 3 million inhabitants, with a core Necronish community and minority languages. The culture emphasizes seafaring, craft traditions, and education. Religion is pluralistic, with secular civic life predominant.

The economy centers on fishing, maritime services, light manufacturing, and tourism. Key ports support trade, while timber and dairy complement rural production. Environmental policy prioritizes sustainable fisheries and forest management due to coastal and ecological sensitivity.

Geography includes temperate coastlines, forests, and hills. Notable sites include Fortress of Keldar and the Harbor of Lirien.
