Mødelokalet

Mødelokalet is the Danish term for a room designated for meetings within a building, such as offices, schools, or public institutions. It serves as a space for planning, decision making, presentations, and discussions. The term combines møde, meaning meeting, with lokalet, the room, and the definite form mødelokalet refers to a particular room in context.

Typically, a mødelokale is furnished with a table or group of tables, chairs, and facilities that support collaboration. Common equipment includes a whiteboard or flipchart, a projector or display screen, and sometimes videoconferencing or teleconferencing capabilities, conference phones, and adequate power and data outlets. Good acoustics, suitable lighting, and flexible seating arrangements are often emphasized to improve communication.
