Märgilines

Märgilines are a theoretical concept in quantum mechanics, specifically within the context of topological quantum computation. They are imagined as one-dimensional excitations that can exist in certain two-dimensional systems. Unlike conventional particles, märgilines are not thought to be localized in space but rather to extend infinitely in one dimension.

The key characteristic of märgilines is their non-abelian braiding statistics.
