Myrkkts is a Finnish band formed in 2014 in Helsinki, Finland. The group is known for blending elements of black metal, doom metal, and ambient music, creating a sound that is both atmospheric and melancholic. Their name, derived from the Finnish word *myrkky* (meaning "poison"), reflects their dark and introspective lyrical themes, often exploring subjects like existential dread, nature, and personal struggles.

The band consists of three members: Jarkko Aaltonen (vocals, guitars), Jarkko Kainulainen (bass), and Jarkko Aaltonen’s brother, Jarkko Aaltonen (drums).
