Myringoplastikk

Myringoplastikk is a surgical procedure used to repair a perforated eardrum, which is a hole in the thin membrane that covers the ear's inner ear. The surgery aims to restore hearing, eliminate chronic ear infections, and alleviate other conditions associated with a perforated eardrum.

The procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia, where the surgeon makes an incision behind the ear to access the eardrum. A piece of cartilage from another part of the body is then used as a graft to cover the perforation in the eardrum.
