These clots can arise in various locations, including peripheral veins, venous sinuses, or even within the chambers of the heart in certain circumstances, leading to different clinical presentations depending on the affected area.

The formation of muuvaltimotukoksiin can be triggered by a combination of factors, commonly referred to as Virchow's triad: stasis of blood flow, damage to the vessel wall, and hypercoagulability of the blood.
