MuseumsQuartier, commonly abbreviated as MQ, is a large cultural complex in Vienna, Austria. Located in the city center, it brings together museums, exhibition spaces, and cultural institutions within a cohesive precinct that blends historic architecture with contemporary design. The site sits on the former imperial stables of the Hofburg, which were repurposed in the late 20th century as part of Vienna’s urban cultural strategy.
