Motiivatsioon

Motiivatsioon refers to the internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to be continually interested and committed to a job, role, or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal. It is the driving force behind human behavior, influencing choices, actions, and persistence.

There are generally two main types of motivation: intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic motivation comes from within an individual, stemming from personal interest, enjoyment, or satisfaction derived from performing an activity. Examples include engaging in a hobby for pleasure or pursuing knowledge for its own sake. Extrinsic motivation, on the other hand, originates from external rewards or pressures. This can include receiving money, praise, or avoiding punishment.

Motivation is a complex psychological construct, studied extensively in fields such as psychology, management, and education.
