Moottoripyöräilyliitto

Moottoripyöräilyliitto is the Finnish Motorcycle Federation. It is the national governing body for motorcycle sports in Finland, responsible for organizing, promoting, and developing various forms of motorcycle racing and recreational riding. The organization is affiliated with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the international governing body for motorcycle sport.

The primary roles of Moottoripyöräilyliitto include sanctioning competitions, setting rules and regulations for different disciplines, and ensuring the safety of participants. They oversee a range of motorcycling activities, from motocross and enduro to road racing and ice speedway. Beyond competitive sports, the federation also plays a role in advocating for the rights and interests of motorcyclists in Finland, addressing issues related to road safety, legislation, and access to riding areas.

Moottoripyöräilyliitto works with affiliated clubs and organizations across the country to promote motorcycling as a sport and a recreational pursuit. They are involved in training and licensing of riders and officials, as well as supporting the development of young talent. The federation also contributes to the international representation of Finnish motorcycle sport.
