Moderációja refers to the act and process of moderating content and discussions within online communities, platforms, and collaborative spaces. It encompasses the rules, procedures, and practices used to manage user-generated content, interactions, and behavior to maintain safety, civility, and compliance with applicable laws and policies. Moderation can apply to forums, social networks, comment sections, wikis, and other spaces where users contribute content or engage in dialogue.

Key methods include human moderation, automated or algorithmic moderation, and community self-moderation. Moderation can be pre-emptive (filters and review before content becomes visible) or post-hoc (removal or sanction after content is published).
