Mködképessége

Mködképessége is a Hungarian term referring to the capacity of a system, device, process, or software to operate as intended under defined conditions. The concept is built from the words for operating and ability, and in standard Hungarian the related forms include működőképesség or működésképesség, with the possessive működőképessége denoting the operability of a particular object. In practice, mködképessége denotes functional readiness rather than mere presence of components.

The term is used across engineering, manufacturing, software development, and medical technology to indicate whether an entity can perform its required tasks. It encompasses factors such as performance under expected loads, resilience to disturbances, ease of maintenance, and safety. Mködképessége is closely related to reliability, availability, maintainability (RAM), and functional safety, forming part of broader discussions about system quality and readiness.
