Misskjøttelse

Misskjøttelse, also known as miscarriage, is a medical term used to describe the spontaneous loss of a pregnancy before the 20th week of gestation. It is a common occurrence, affecting approximately 10-20% of known pregnancies. The exact cause of misskjøttelse is often unknown, but it can be attributed to various factors including genetic abnormalities, hormonal imbalances, infections, and uterine abnormalities.
