Minneskodningen, often translated as memory encoding, is the initial process of transforming perceived information into a form that can be stored in the brain's memory system. It is the first crucial step in forming new memories. This process involves several stages, including sensory input, attention, and the organization of information. When we encounter new information, our senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch) receive stimuli.
