Miksauspultti

Miksauspultti, also known as a mixing console or soundboard, is an electronic device used for combining, processing, and routing audio signals. It is a fundamental piece of equipment in sound recording, live sound reinforcement, and broadcasting.

A typical miksauspultti consists of multiple input channels, each designed to receive and process a separate audio source, such as a microphone, instrument, or playback device. These input channels usually feature gain controls to adjust the signal level, equalizers (EQ) to modify the tone, and auxiliary sends to route signals to effects processors or monitor mixes.

The console also includes faders or potentiometers for controlling the volume of each input channel and the master output. Other common features include mute buttons, solo buttons, and routing options to send specific channels to different outputs.
