Metaisbase

Metaisbase is a term that appears in some Portuguese-language industry writing to denote base metals, a class of metallic elements used in ordinary industrial applications rather than for investment or ornament. It is not a formal term in major mineral classifications; the standard concept remains base metals. In some contexts, metasbase may be used as branding, a project name, or shorthand for material specifications, but there is no single global definition associated with the word.

Base metals typically include copper, aluminum, nickel, zinc, lead, and tin. Iron and steel are usually treated separately as ferrous metals.
