Menetstabilizáló, often referred to as threadlocker, is a liquid chemical compound used to prevent loosening of mechanical fasteners such as nuts and bolts due to vibration and shock. It works by curing in the absence of air, forming a strong bond between the mating threads of the fastener and the threaded hole. This process, known as anaerobic curing, relies on the presence of metal ions and the absence of oxygen to initiate and complete the polymerization of the liquid.
