Meili
Meili, commonly known as Meili Snow Mountain (Meili Xueshan in Chinese), is a rugged mountain range in northwestern Yunnan Province, China. It is part of the Hengduan Mountains and lies mainly in Deqin County within the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, near the borders with the Tibetan region and Sichuan. The range’s highest peak is Kawagebo, at about 6,740 meters above sea level, with several other summits exceeding 6,000 meters. The mountains feature steep granite faces, glaciers, and deep gorges, supporting diverse alpine ecosystems.
