Mamanwa refers to an indigenous Negrito group residing primarily in the northeastern part of Mindanao, Philippines, particularly in the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Sur. They are one of the many ethnolinguistic groups in the Philippines collectively known as the Negrito, characterized by their dark skin, curly hair, and small stature.
