Monster Hunter World (MHW) is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom. It is the fifth mainline entry in the Monster Hunter series and was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018, with a Windows PC version following later that year. The game takes place in the New World, a newly explored land where the Research Commission hunts and studies gigantic monsters, gathering materials to craft better gear.
