Luftführende
Luftführende is a German term used in engineering and technical discussions to describe elements, features, or phenomena that direct, shape, or regulate the flow of air. The word combines Luft (air) and führen (to guide or conduct) with the participle ending -ende, and is commonly found in compound expressions such as Luftführende Bauteile, Luftführende Kanalführung, or Luftführende Oberfläche. As a standalone noun, the term is less common; more often the concept is expressed with Luftführung or air-guidance.
In HVAC and building services, air-guiding elements such as ducts, diffusers, baffles, and louvers are described
The term is predominantly used in German-language technical literature and is less common in everyday language.
