Lombtrágyát

Lombtrágyát, also known as foliar fertilizer, is a liquid or soluble powder that is applied directly to the leaves of plants. This method of fertilization allows nutrients to be absorbed by the plant through its stomata and cuticle, bypassing the soil and root system. Foliar feeding is often used to supplement soil-based fertilization, providing a quick boost of nutrients when plants are stressed or experiencing deficiencies.

The primary advantage of lombtrágyát is its rapid uptake by plants. This can be particularly beneficial for addressing specific nutrient deficiencies that manifest quickly in leaf color or plant vigor. It can also be useful in situations where soil conditions hinder nutrient availability, such as in very alkaline or acidic soils, or during periods of drought or waterlogging. Lombtrágyát can deliver micronutrients like iron, zinc, manganese, and copper effectively, as well as macronutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

However, foliar feeding has limitations. The capacity of leaves to absorb nutrients is finite, and it is generally not a substitute for regular soil fertilization, especially for essential macronutrients that plants require in larger quantities. Over-application of lombtrágyát can lead to leaf burn or other forms of phytotoxicity. Therefore, it is crucial to follow product instructions carefully regarding dilution rates and application timing. Best results are typically achieved when applied during cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late evening, to minimize evaporation and maximize absorption.
