Lombokand

Lombokand is a fictional archipelago located in a tropical maritime region near the real-world island of Lombok. It comprises a main island, also named Lombokand, and about a dozen smaller islets. The landscape features volcanic highlands, mangrove coastlines, and rainforests. The climate is tropical, with a wet season from November to April and a dry season from May to October.

According to Lombokand's lore, the islands were settled by seafaring communities and developed as a maritime trading hub. A medieval confederation later centralized into a constitutional arrangement within a regional federation. Independence was proclaimed in 1946 in the fictional timeline.

Lombokand operates as a unitary constitutional republic within the regional federation. The president serves as head of state and government, while a unicameral legislature drafts laws. Local island councils handle internal matters, with an independent judiciary and five-year elections.
