Lisäeristysjärjestelmä

Lisäeristysjärjestelmä, often translated as external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) or EIFS, is a building facade insulation method. It involves applying a layer of insulation material, typically expanded polystyrene (EPS) or mineral wool, to the exterior of a wall. This insulation layer is then covered with a reinforcing mesh embedded in a base coat, followed by a final decorative render or cladding.
