Lessonia

Lessonia is a genus of South American birds belonging to the family Thamnophilidae, the antbirds. These small to medium-sized passerine birds are primarily found in forest and woodland habitats. The genus currently contains four recognized species.

The species within Lessonia are characterized by their generally cryptic plumage, often featuring shades of brown, gray, and black, with some sexual dimorphism present in certain species.
